Develop effective skills for rhythm playing as a single guitar player or in a group context. We will cover the use of triads, fourths, hammer-ons, and slides with chords. Chords: The “G add9 chord,” Triads, Inversions, 3rds in the bass, sus chords, 2nds. Soloing: Blues based, major and minor pentatonic scales, hammers, slides, bending, and vibrato. Rhythm/lead: combining all of these elements to create a strong basis for soloing, comping, and fills.
